sometimes i miss having students
Since I'm a bit busy (and lazy) I am swiping this from Kari's blog because it is so funny. My apologies to the readers who overlap.
There were always a few kids in class who, though they didn't study, would still fill in the blanks on tests for which they had no substantive answers. Sometimes they would draw me a picture, sometimes they would answer something witty or sarcastic, relate anecdotes about what they did that weekend, I even got a few gushing complements in the hopes of buttering me up so I might not fail them. It always brought some levity and variety into the often hum-drum task of grading papers.
These are great examples!
