el hombre de los moleculos
We watched a rerun of SNL last week with Conan as host. I know I watched it when it originally aired but I think I must have fallen asleep before this skit, because it was new to me.
I can't get the theme song and catchphrase out of my brain. I just keep cracking up about it. I showed it to the girls and now they're doing it too. Something will happen like spilled milk or something and one of us will say, "This looks like a job for Moleculo." The the rest of us shout "THE MOLECULAR MAN!" (Which, of course, is best said while putting one's hands on one's hips and puffing out one's chest)
E keeps quoting different parts from it. I love that she quotes stuff like me. There's this one quote she does from Elf when Will Ferrell steps into the mail room and says. "This is just like Santa's workshop...except it smells like mushrooms and everyone looks like they want to hurt me." I just dig that she finds the humor in that, and her delivery is great.
I'm glad my kids are funny. E starts an Improv class at the park district this week. I think that should be cool.
I have no relevant sentence with which to end this post.
Here are several random thoughts:
*I was impressed that I correctly answered yesterday's final Jeopardy which was the word "sedition."
*We watched Akeela and the Bee tonight. I really like that movie and I love that I can watch it with E.
*Hobby Lobby lied to me and said they had a choo choo train cookie cutter and would hold one at the service desk, when in fact they had no such cutter...more like Liar Lobby!
*Brad Pitt said that he would not marry Angelina until marriage rights are equal in the U.S. Is that just really a backhanded way of saying "I'll marry HER when hell freezes over?"
*If you are reading this before 9/11 check out my cute panda post on webshots here. If it's after 9/11, um, check out my 9/11 post.
* twenty-something people are going to be in my house in 15 hours and I am ill prepared.
