the roo is two
We had Roo's birthday party yesterday. We got him a train table becuase it looks as though, just as the girls fell prey to the Disney Princess juggernaut, so has the boy to Thomas the Tank Engine (or "choo-choo" as he refers to it). He seemed to like it:
The cake was awesome. However,the little tank engine pictured below that was supposed to run 'round the track, was derailed by overlapping frosting.
I neither have the time nor the energy to explain the ordeal that ensued when I decided to have train shaped Jell-0 jigglers at this party. Suffice it to say that Tom almost physically harmed several Hobby Lobby employees and I had to purchase 100 cookie cutters (of which 8 were missing!)from Jo-Ann Fabrics in order to procure the one aforementioned train. But, thanks to Laura's culinary jiggler prowess, it all worked out. This is the result:
